Human rights as part of our responsibility

VIVATIS is part of the alanta health group, a responsible corporate group operating in the healthcare sector. As a company in pharmaceutical wholesale, VIVATIS is a key element of the supply and distribution structures within the group.

Our business activities are guided by the principle that economic success and respect for human rights are inseparably linked. This applies to our own activities as well as to our collaboration with business partners and suppliers.

The group-wide commitment to protecting human rights is firmly embedded in the policy statement of the alanta health group.

Due diligence obligations in the supply chain

The alanta health group complies with the legal requirements of the German Supply Chain Due Diligence Act. This includes, in particular, structured risk analysis, the implementation of preventive measures and the review of their effectiveness.

For VIVATIS, these obligations apply to its own business area in pharmaceutical wholesale as well as to direct suppliers. The results of the group-wide risk analysis are decisive in this context. The effectiveness of the measures is regularly reviewed as part of group-wide processes. Transparency and stable partnerships are central to our approach.

Whistleblowing system and procedure

To support human rights due diligence, a group-wide standardized whistleblowing system is available to all employees. Reports relating to human rights or environmental risks, or to possible violations, can be submitted confidentially through this system.

External persons may also submit reports. The contact person is the Human Rights Officer of the alanta health group.

All reports are carefully reviewed in accordance with the defined group-wide procedure. If an initial suspicion is confirmed, we initiate appropriate measures to reduce risks or end violations. We do not tolerate reprisals against persons who submit reports.
